For which types of events is the promenade hall suitable?
The foyer in the Langenbeck-Virchow-Haus in Berlin-Mitte is a listed event space with historic charm. It is suitable for smaller receptions, exhibitions, poster presentations, and refreshments during breaks. During large conferences, the foyer is also used as additional exhibition space for industrial and poster displays.
How many guests can be received in the foyer?
The lobby of the LVH in Berlin can accommodate up to 70 people for a standing reception. This makes the room ideal for intimate events with a special ambiance.
Is the promenade hall accessible for wheelchair users?
Yes, the lobby is fully accessible via a discreet elevator. An accessible restroom is located on the ground floor.
What technical equipment does the promenade hall have?
The room can be individually equipped with technology. Lighting, audio equipment, and presentation equipment are all possible, tailored to your specific event.
Welche Catering-Möglichkeiten gibt es in der Wandelhalle?
Our catering partner Eurest is located directly in the building and offers individual concepts – from coffee breaks to festive receptions.
Can I hold poster or industry exhibitions in the foyer?
Yes, the concourse offers flexible spaces for this. Industrial exhibitors can be placed on approximately 18 m², or alternatively, up to 20 poster walls (approx. 40 posters) can be accommodated.
Is a viewing possible beforehand?
Of course. Please arrange an individual viewing appointment so that we can dedicate sufficient time to you.
Are short-notice bookings possible?
Yes, short-notice bookings are also possible, depending on availability.
What are the rental periods for the promenade hall?
There is no fixed minimum booking time for the Wandelhalle. Whether it’s a two-hour meeting or a multi-day exhibition – the venue in Berlin-Mitte can be booked for half a day or a full day.
What happens if a booking is changed or cancelled?
