For which formats is the Historical Lecture Hall used?
The listed lecture hall primarily serves as a plenary hall for lectures, training courses, congresses, and conferences. It also provides a fitting setting for festive occasions such as academic graduation ceremonies or anniversary celebrations.
How many people can the lecture hall accommodate?
The main floor offers 336 seats, with an additional 164 in the upper balcony. We are happy to offer customized rates for events with fewer than 150 guests.
Is the room accessible for wheelchair users?
Yes, the room is accessible via the elevator at reception. Wheelchair users can sit directly behind the top row. Accessible restrooms are located on the ground floor and on the 5th floor. The stage is also accessible via a stairlift.
What technical equipment is available?

Do you have a catering recommendation?
Please note that food and drinks are not permitted in the lecture hall. However, the spacious foyer areas are available for catering during your event. Our catering partner, Eurest, located directly in the building, will be happy to develop customized concepts to suit your occasion.
Can I present exhibitions or posters in the lecture hall?
No, the Historical Lecture Hall is not intended for exhibitions. For poster or industry exhibitions, we recommend the foyers on the ground floor or second floor. We would be happy to assist you with the planning.
Can I view the lecture hall beforehand?
Yes, absolutely. Please schedule an appointment so we can show you the lecture hall in person.
How short notice can I book?
Short-notice bookings are also possible depending on availability – just ask.
Is there a minimum duration or size requirement?
The historic lecture hall can be booked for half a day or a full day. For events with fewer than 150 people, we offer a 40% discount on the regular rental price.
What happens in case of changes or cancellations?
Changes are possible by arrangement, taking into account our terms and conditions and cancellation policy – for maximum flexibility.
