For which types of events is the foyer on the 2nd floor suitable?
The foyer on the second floor primarily serves as access to the lecture hall. Since food and drinks are not permitted in the lecture hall itself, catering is not possible in this area. However, due to the high volume of visitors, it is very well suited as additional space for poster and industry exhibitions.
How many people can fit in the foyer on the 2nd floor?
The foyer is usually bustling with activity. Typically, there are rarely more than 40 people there at any one time. The maximum capacity is approximately 90 people.
Is the foyer on the 2nd floor accessible for wheelchair users?
Yes, the foyer on the 2nd floor is fully accessible by elevator. Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available on the ground floor and the 5th floor.
What technical equipment can be used?
The foyer can be flexibly equipped with the technology of your choice. Whether lighting, audio technology or presentation equipment – we will gladly advise you and provide the appropriate setup.
Do you have a catering recommendation?
Catering is not permitted in this foyer, as it provides access to the lecture hall. For catering options, we recommend our other foyers – our partner Eurest will be happy to advise you individually.
Can I display exhibitions or posters in the foyer?
Yes, an area of 24 m² can accommodate industrial exhibitors. Up to 20 poster walls (approx. 40 posters) can be set up for poster presentations.
Is it possible to view the foyer?
Of course. Simply make an appointment so we can personally show you the foyer on the 2nd floor.
Are short-notice bookings possible?
Yes, short-notice bookings are also possible – depending on availability.
Is there a minimum duration or size requirement?
There is no fixed minimum duration. The foyer on the second floor can be booked for half a day or a full day, depending on the event – usually as additional exhibition or presentation space.
What happens in case of changes or cancellations?
Changes are possible by arrangement, taking into account our terms and conditions and cancellation policy – for maximum flexibility.
