For which formats is the room suitable?

The fully equipped workshop room, functioning as a wet lab/dry lab, offers optimal conditions for hands-on training, surgical exercises, and realistic simulations.

How many people can fit in the room?

Up to 3 participants can work at each workstation. With 10 workstations, this results in a maximum of 30 people.

Is the room accessible for wheelchair users?

Yes, the room on the 5th floor is accessible for wheelchair users via the elevator at reception. An accessible restroom is located on the same floor. The workstations are not wheelchair accessible by default, but can be adapted as needed.

What technical equipment is available?

The room offers 8–10 flexibly designed workstations with 8 endoscopy towers for minimally invasive surgery. 2D and 3D cameras, instruments for open surgery and laparoscopy, and a permanently installed projector complete the equipment.

Is catering available in the room?

No, catering is not permitted in the training room for hygiene reasons. However, our partner Eurest will be happy to provide suitable workshop catering in the adjacent foyer.

Can I hold an industry exhibition or poster presentations in the room?

No, the Ferdinand Sauerbruch Room is exclusively for practical exercises and medical training.

Can I view the room beforehand?

With pleasure. Please make an appointment so we can show you the room in person.

How short notice can I book?

Short-notice bookings are also possible depending on availability – just ask.

What rental periods apply?

The room can be booked for half a day or a full day – from two-hour training sessions to multi-day workshops.

What happens in case of changes or cancellations?

Changes are possible by arrangement, taking into account our terms and conditions and cancellation policy – ​​for maximum flexibility.
